An account
In the Cloud Monetisation Platform, a billing entity that can be used to manage payments on one or more subscriptions or payments for services. An account can hold details such as payments or invoices. bond is a one-time upfront payment that is held against the account in case of non-payment of outstanding credit. It acts like a security deposit for the operator. A bond payment can be taken at the point of registration and sent through to CMP

A bond payment cannot be taken in AgentView
The graphical user interface of the CMP that is typically used by Customer Service Agents to access CMP customer and billing data. In versions prior to CMP 8.0, this was called the CMP GUI..
An individual bond can be partially or fully redeemed back to the account balance to act as a payment against the account balance. The bond redemption pays off any outstanding debt using the existing debt matching rules. If a redemption results in a credit balance on the account, it is possible to raise a refund for the credit balance amount and return this to the registered financial details against the account. In the case of manual payers, a cheque refund will be generated. See Refunds.

CMP does not limit the number of separate bond payments that can be taken and each individual bond is displayed as a separate record in the Account Bond Information panel.
