System
System configuration enables you to configure system-wide application parameters and parameters for installed modules. This includes:
Descriptive titles are useful general-use descriptors that can be applied to CMP
Converged Monetisation Platform. The MDS Global product that supports customer care and billing for digital service providers. entities in multiple business and system configuration areas such as:
- Language, for example English, Spanish, Arabian or Japanese.
- Country of Origin, for example USA, United Kingdom, Turkey or Venezuela.
- Transactions, for example direct debit, unapplied cash, adjustment or payment received.
- Communications, such as descriptive titles for distribution methods, external targets, and default fields.
Descriptive titles are organised in groups for ease of use, for example all descriptive titles for financial transactions are grouped together.
In Business Configuration
A module in the CMP Administation console that provides for viewing and modification of business and user applicable system configuration., you can view, create and edit descriptive titles.
To create a descriptive title, you:
- Choose or create a group
In the Customer Manager Platform hierarchy, the highest level of the structure. The group level can be used to group corporates. Groups can hold financial information. to which the descriptive title will belong. - Provide a unique alphanumeric code for the title and a brief meaningful description.
In Business Configuration, you can configure workflow event properties by setting the event type and event code for the associated workflow event. For more information, see Workflow.
You can configure the value and default value for system parameters.
Service Properties allow a different service used by a specific CMP process to be configured against a service property. The service properties define what service code will be used for a specific action, for example,
TERMINATION_FEE term.fee.service Termination Fee (TERMF) – this defines what service code (TERMF) would be used when creating charges for terminating a subscription
A billing entity that incurs a charge. Examples include a network attached device whose usage you want to measure and charge for, or a monthly software subscription early.
You can override the retention period for the monthly partitions on the Comms and Network
In the context of CMP, the infrastructure on which usage of registered customers will be measured – this could be a mobile phone network, broadband network or other non-telecommunications network. Request tables.

In the context of the Cloud Monetisation Platform, an individual or organisation who has signed an agreement to take goods and services from a service provider. A customer receives a bill associated with one or more subscriptions, and can be a single end user or a large company with many subscriptions assigned to one agreement. bills.
CMP security has 9 levels of authority. Each CMP user
A person with the capability to log in to the CMP GUI software, such as a customer service advisor or agent. is assigned one of those levels, as are all of the features the user has access to.
