Openet Provisioning Adapter

When CMP is being used in conjunction with Openet PCC as an Online Charging System (OCS), subscribers created in CMP and requiring Real Time control of their usage The consumption of services, for example a subscriber using call minutes. need to be provisioned to Openet PCC along with any inclusive allowances.

The Openet Provisioning Adapter consumes standard JSON JavaScript Object Notation. JSON is a lightweight format for storing and transporting data, often used when data is sent from a server to a web page. format provisioning In telecommunications, the setup of equipment, wiring and transmission to deliver services to a customer. requests generated by CMP and connects subscriptions on Openet PCC via its standard APIs using a three-stage process:

1. Creation of an inactive subscription A billing entity that incurs a charge. Examples include a network attached device whose usage you want to measure and charge for, or a monthly software subscription
2. Addition of allowances
3. Immediate or delayed activation of the subscription.

The adapter also supports making the necessary Openet PCC API Application Programming Interface. A set of functions and procedures that allow the creation of applications that access the features or data of another software system, such as an application or operating system. calls for in life actions such as:

• Addition an allowance as part of a bolt-on An addition to a subscriber's main plan or product; also sometimes called an add-on. purchase

Openet Usage Adapter

When CMP is being used in conjunction with Openet PCC as an Online Charging System (OCS) rated usage, generated by Openet PCC for CMP subscribers, needs to be loaded into CMP for consultation and subsequently for inclusion on invoices.

The Openet Usage Adapter collects rated usage files in the proprietary unaggregated rated usage format from Openet ECS version 7.0.2 via SFTP Secure File Transfer Protocol. A network protocol used for secure file transfer between remote systems over a secure shell. and transforms them to the standard CMP rated usage JSON format so that they are ready to be processed by the CMP Rated Usage Loader.
