Patch Releases

CMP 8.10.0.2 - 18th May 2023

This patch release addresses 1 product change as follows:

• CMP-18379: REST - Get Subscriptions - Query by Id Type & Number - This REST service required refactoring to allow for a query by identification number and for identification information to be returned in the response. This identification number is stored against the personal address. This change was made as part of the 8.11 release but has been patched back to CMP 8.10.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

• rest-ws (build 2.12.87)

This patch is available for deployment in the CMP 8.10 GA repository.

CMP 8.10.0.1 - 4th May 2023

This patch release addresses 9 application support issues as follows:

• CMPIS-2540: SOAP – Update Subscription Serial Number – SIM Pairing Issue (VAD-1794) - An error was being returned as part of SOAP Update Subscription Serial Numbers web service where a valid SIM, that was not paired, was provided.
• CMPIS-2539: Triggered – Job Stuck & no further comm can be progressed (RED-754) - On examining a number of triggered jobs it was noted that when significant triggering data is presented to a job it could create a race condition that could initiate multiple executions of the same job at the same time. This was noted for Comms monitor, action Monitor, Rated Usage and Workflow Monitor. It is known that concurrent execution of the same job can cause unpredictable results and can result in subsequent executions of the job not working.
• CMPIS-2538: Console – Schedule – Suspend/Resume Not Working - The suspend/resume option of the scheduler was not correctly populating the audit user field.
• CMPIS-2536: Console – Scheduler Issues – Multiple Sabre Instances - The sabre job scheduler was observed to not be working as expected when there were multiple sabre instances
• CMPIS-2535: Sabre Batch -Job Execution Race Condition - An issue was observed with Rated Usage whereby two executions of the rated usage job fired for a single interface batch header record. This resulted in the interface batch header record ending up with a stage status of 'In Progress'.
• CMPIS-2531: Advance Notifications – Sub with recurring bolt ons incorrectly receiving notifications (VAD-1793) - The original query to identify subscribers who had not purchase a bolt-on in a given period did not take recurring bolt-on's into consideration. The bolt-on could have been purchased outside the cut off period but was still active and therefore the customer should not have received a warning telling them they need to purchase a bolt-on.
• CMPIS-2568: Billing - Database connection not released (RED-762) - Usage Archiving job was not releasing a database connection after it ran.
• CMPIS-2513: Various Batch Jobs – Error creating interface batch detail partitions (RED-757) - It was observed in the sabre log file that a partition error was being thrown by various batch jobs e.g. Rated Usage, Managed Number Monitor, Statement Production.
• CMPIS-2553: Openet - External Comms Not Loading (RED-761) - An inconsistency was observed with the format of an external request coming from Openet and the JSON schema.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

• sabre-advance-notification (build 1.7.10)
• sabre-comms (build 2.12.2)
• sabre-server (build 1.17.15)
• sabre-usage-archiving (build 2.7.3)

This patch is available for deployment in the CMP 8.10 GA repository.
