Patch Releases

The latest ansible playbook should be downloaded before installing any release or patch and the version should checked against the cmp-ansible-playbook-pkg version in the Module Versions section below. The playbook package should be at least the version specified below but may be a later version.

CMP 8.13.0.10 - 31st July 2024

This patch release addresses 3 application support issues as follows:

• CMPIS-3067: Recurring Prepayment - Card Mode - Not billed after initial purchase date (VAD-1801) - A number of recurring purchases were not billed after the first purchase date. This issue was caused by recurring purchases not always being created correctly in the autopayment table.
• CMPIS-3083: Allowance Allocation - Shared Allowances - Agreement Number treated as Subscription Number When shared allowances are purchased, the Agreement Number was incorrectly being processed as a Subscription Number.
• CMPIS-3084: Action Monitor - Hanging when subscriptions created in bulk - Under certain conditions, Action Monitor was observed to hang and not process actions. This was observed whilst creating subscriptions in bulk.

CMP 8.13.0.9 - 5th July 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3072: Subscription Feature not updated for a bar (RED-821) - It was observed that the subscription features table was not being updated when a bar was being applied to a subscription and therefore not showing that the bar had been applied. When a request to remove the bar was raised it failed as the bar was not showing as having had been applied.
• CMPIS-3038: AgentView – Allow Subscription Creation Without Price Plan - When creating a subscription through AgentView, if a tariff was selected without selecting a price plan, AgentView incorrectly allowed the installation to proceed.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

CMP 8.13.0.8 - 25th June 2024

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3013: Bulk Sales Ledger Adjustment Job Fails (RED-816) - When attempting to add bulk sales ledger adjustments the batch job failed with a missing class error.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

• sabre-manage-plan-tariff-change (build 1.9.6)
• sabre-manage-sales-ledger-adjustment (build 1.7.8)

CMP 8.13.0.7 - 20th June 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issues as follows:

• CMPIS-3016: Non Network Actions Not Completing (MMI-2) - It has been observed that a number of non-network action were not being processed and were being left in a 'Pending Auto Confirmation' state.
• CMPIS-3043: REST - Get Subscription Package - Timestamp format in response (VAD-1800) - The timestamp being returned to the GET Subscription Package RESTful web service response was returning timestamps in UNIX format rather than in an ISO 8601 Date as specified in the documentation.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

• rest-ws (build 2.15.94)
• sabre-action-monitor (build 2.14.7)

CMP 8.13.0.6 - 17th May 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issues as follows:

• CMPIS-3019: Tariff Change Not Ending Previous Allowances (RED-817) - It was observed that in some cases a price plan change was not ending the old allowances.
• CMPIS-3029: Comms - ACCOUNTAMOUNTDUE field - Not displaying correct value - It was observed that the ACCOUNTAMOUNTDUE field in a comms was not correctly displaying the payment amount due until the payment became due for payment meaning comms were showing incorrect payment amounts.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

• sabre-allocations (build 1.5.8)
• sabre-comms (build 2.15.20)
• sabre-dal (build 2.15.67)
• sabre-workflow-monitor (build 2.14.4)

In addition, the Ansible Playbook package (cmp-ansible-playbook-pkg) has been updated to version 1.13.46.

CMP 8.13.0.5 - 28th March 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issues as follows:

• CMPIS-2970: Recurring Payment (Card) Pulling Incorrect Amount (RED-810) - The recurring payments job in card mode was observed to be incorrectly pulling a card payment a number of times.
• CMPIS-2989: Comms Latest Invoice Due Date – Wrong Bean - The comms field LATESTINVOICEDUEDATE was incorrectly implemented as an advanced notification.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

• sabre-ledger-monitor (build 2.9.5)

CMP 8.13.0.4 - 19th March 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issues as follows:

• CMPIS-2906: Billing Inconsistencies (RED-798) - It was observed that is a subscription was disconnected a few days after being connected, no normal invoice was produced.
• CMPIS-2969: Comms remain unsent or stuck in progress (RED-809) - It was observed that a significant number of comms requests were stuck in a status of 'In Progress'. This appeared to be an issue where account level comms and subscription level comms were being sent at the same time.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

• sabre-comms (build 2.15.17)
• sabre-dal (build 2.15.65)
• sabre-invoice-production (build 2.14.10)

In addition, the Ansible Playbook package (cmp-ansible-playbook-pkg) has been updated to version 1.13.44.

CMP 8.13.0.3 - 22nd February 2024

This patch release addresses 9 application support issues and 3 product enhancements as follows:

• CMPIS-2817: Service Billed incorrectly after bill cycle change (RED-790) - An issue was identified when billing a service in arrears that occurred after a change to the bill cycle where the service was billed incorrectly.
• CMPIS-2824: Package Ended After Bill Cycle Date (RED-791) - An issue was identified where a customer had cancelled a a recurring bolt-on after just one day and was charged an extra day for the service by mistake.
• CMPIS-2900: Rated Usage – Refactor Duplicate CDR Check (RED-789) - A duplicate write was attempted on the Rated Usage table resulting in the rated usage batch ending up with a stage status of 'error'. The Rated Usage job has been modified to check for all possible duplicate records at the start of processing a batch.
• CMPIS-2901: AgentView – Termination Fee Calculation Incorrect (RED-797) - The calculation of 'Other Charges' in the termination fee calculation was returning incorrect values in certain scenarios.
• CMPIS-2958: Termination Fee Calculation Changes (RED-797) - The termination fee calculation was using the termination date to calculate termination fees rather than the day after.
• CMPIS-2944: AgentView - Handle OCS unavailable or not implemented - In the situation where CMP is not integrated to an OCS or where the OCS is unavailable, AgentView now handles this without an on-screen message.
• CMPIS-2902: Latest Invoice Amount Not Populated for Comms - When the field LATESTINVOICEAMOUNT was included as part of a communication, the value for that field on the commsrequestfielddetail was being set to NULL incorrectly.
• CMPIS-2897: ConfigCentre: commsCodeLanguage Not Populated for Letters - It was not possible to generate letter communications due to missing records in the comms language table.
• CMP-20511: Separate Write Off & Disallow Identity - The credit control step to write-off an account balance and blacklist the identity has been split into two distinct steps.
• CMP-20515: Published Interfaces Layer (PIL) – Additional Log Information - Additional logging has been added to the Published Interfaces Layer to allow better troubleshooting of SOAP web service issues.
• CMP-20482: Comms – Additional Payment Fields - A new comms field has been introduced to support the latest invoice amount due date, LATESTINVOICEDUEDATE. In addition, the following comms fields have been marked with an 'ADVANCE' category to indicate that these field are only available for use with advance notification comms:
  • CARDLAST4DIGITS - Card Last 4 Digits
  • CARDEXPIRYDATE - Card Expiry Date
  • RECPREPAYMENTPRODUCT - Recurring Prepayment Product Purchase Description
  • RECPREPAYMENTDATE - Recurring Prepayment Due Date
  • RECPREPAYMENTLAST4DIGITS - Recurring Prepayment Purchase Card Digits

CMP 8.13.0.2 - 4th January 2024

This patch release addresses 3 product enhancements and 4 application support issues as follows:

• CMP-20467: AgentView - Billing Type in Subscription Summary - The Billing Type on the Subscription Summary screen should display either 'Postpaid' or 'Prepaid' based on the designated usage of the tariff. This was not being displayed correctly in all cases.
• CMP-20458: Prepaid Subscription - Active Service Display - In AgentView, services are considered active if the network confirmed flag is set to true and the service is marked to be invoiced. This is correct when dealing with postpaid subscriptions but for prepaid subscriptions services will not be marked to be invoiced but these services should still have been displayed in the active service view.
• CMP-20485: Comms - Account Amount Due - Refactor - Credit Balance - The comms field 'ACCOUNTAMOUNTDUE' required refactoring to ensure a credit/negative balance was not returned in the communication message. Where the account amount due is negative a zero amount is now returned.
• CMPIS-2812: REST - Get Contact Details Response Postal Address - Camel Case - The elements of the 'postalAddress' in the get Contact Details API response container should have been returned in camel case but weren't being.
• CMPIS-2874: Comms - Payment Received Comm - Intermittent Failure (RED-793) - An issue was observed whereby some communications were failing intermittently. This was caused by comms being generated for both an account and one of its subscriptions at the same time.
• CMPIS-2890: JBoss Standalone.xml overwritten on upgrade - It was observed that if customer specific changes were made to the JBoss standalone.xml file, these changes would be lost on a subsequent CMP upgrade.
• CMPIS-2908: Action Monitor – Incorrect syntax for default in spring annotation - An error was observed in the Action Monitor job as a result of incorrect syntax used to specify the default value in a Spring annotation expression.

CMP 8.13.0.1 - 17th November 2023

This patch release addresses 1 product enhancement and 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMP-19942: Config Centre – Merge Online Help - The menu structure has been changed in the configuration centre help module to display topics only related to the module the user is in i.e. either Business Configuration or Pricing Configuration.
• CMPIS-2873: REST Exception - Order By Clause - When the REST GET Subscription Email Address is called before the REST GET Subscription web service, the REST GET Subscription service failed. The same issue was observed if the REST GET Account Email Address is called before the REST GET Account web service.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:
