Patch Releases

The latest ansible playbook should be downloaded before installing any release or patch and the version should checked against the cmp-ansible-playbook-pkg version in the Module Versions section below. The playbook package should be at least the version specified below but may be a later version.

CMP 8.15.0.7 - 17th October 2024

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3141: Workflow Monitor – Incorrectly applying tax to termination fees (RED-840) - It was observed that in some cases tax was being added twice when generating termination fees for tax exclusive services.

CMP 8.15.0.6 - 3rd October 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issues as follows:

• CMPIS-3124: Recurring Prepayment - Auto payment record created with incorrect date - Purchasing a prepaid recurring bolt-on created the auto payment record with a next payment due date of the current date instead of a date aligned to the cycle unit and length.
• CMPIS-3184: NetEngage Provisioning Adapter – MSISDN not always set correctly - In some cases it was observed that an incorrect serial number was being sent to the OCS rather than the MSISDN.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

CMP 8.15.0.5 - 29th August 2024

This patch release addresses 3 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3046: Recurring Payment rejection - Multiple invoice - Pulling Incorrect Amount - When a recurring payment rejection occurred for multiple invoices where the payment date and the rejection date were different, the account balance was updated incorrectly.
• CMPIS-3102: Probe Alert Creation Issues (RED-827) - Whenever a probe triggered, an entry in the recipient table was not being created successfully such that alert recipients did not receive corresponding alerts.
• CMPIS-3116: REST - Get Compatible Package - Illegal Argument Exception (MMI-4) - An issue was observed with the GET Compatible Packages API such that it was always returning an illegal argument exception.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

CMP 8.15.0.4 - 16th August 2024

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3106: Rest - Change Price Plan - Null Pointer Exception (MMI-3) - When attempting to change the subscription's price plan, the workflow event was successfully raised but a null pointer exception error was returned in the REST response.

CMP 8.15.0.3 - 31st July 2024

This patch release addresses 6 application support issues and 2 product enhancements as follows:

• CMPIS-3011: Charging Suspended - Incorrect billing on Final invoice (RED-815) - It was observed that where service charges had been suspended and the subscription was disconnected, the suspended service was then incorrectly billed.
• CMPIS-3067: Recurring Prepayment - Card Mode - Not billed after initial purchase date (VAD-1801) - A number of recurring purchases were not billed after the first purchase date. This issue was caused by recurring purchases not always being created correctly in the autopayment table.
• CMPIS-3023: Credit Control Job - Workflow Events Processing Immediately - When the Credit Control job raised workflow events as part of credit control steps, it was observed that the workflows were processed immediately irrespective of the resolution required by date/time set on the workflow.
• CMPIS-3083: Allowance Allocation - Shared Allowances - Agreement Number treated as Subscription Number When shared allowances are purchased, the Agreement Number was incorrectly being processed as a Subscription Number.
• CMPIS-3084: Action Monitor - Hanging when subscriptions created in bulk - Under certain conditions, Action Monitor was observed to hang and not process actions. This was observed whilst creating subscriptions in bulk.
• CMPIS-3096: REST Issues - Problem with redoneprodselfcare profile - CMP 8.15 only supports a username of 10 characters but an 18 character username was being used for REST calls. The actual username used for REST was ignored up until 8.14 and a generic profile was used. When this was fixed in 8.14 to use the actual profile used instead of a generic profile, this caused an issue logging the username when creating a workflow for the REST request.
• CMP-21031: AgentView - Termination Fee Calculation - Include Tax - When services were not configured as tax inclusive, the value for Estimated Final Bill Total was incorrect. This was because the totals for termination fee, unbilled usage, and other charges do not include tax, but the outstanding account balance that they are then added to (to provide the Estimated Final Bill Total) do.
• CMP-21116: Bulk Action - Plan Change - Refactor - As of Time - A change has been made to the bulk plan change panel to allow a time value to be entered for the 'As of Date' component. If a time value is entered, this is used as the resolution required by date time for the associated workflow. If no time value is entered, then a time of midnight will be used.

CMP 8.15.0.2 - 5th July 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issue and one product enhancement as follows:

• CMPIS-3072: Subscription Feature not updated for a bar (RED-821) - It was observed that the subscription features table was not being updated when a bar was being applied to a subscription and therefore not showing that the bar had been applied. When a request to remove the bar was raised it failed as the bar was not showing as having had been applied.
• CMPIS-3038: AgentView – Allow Subscription Creation Without Price Plan - When creating a subscription through AgentView, if a tariff was selected without selecting a price plan, AgentView incorrectly allowed the installation to proceed.
• CMP-21028: SOAP - Create Subscription - <OverrideMaxSubscriptions> - As part of CMP 8.14, changes were made to SOAP Webservices to support being able to control whether the maximum subscriptions check is performed when a subscription is created. As part of these changes, <OverrideMaxSubscriptions> was added to the <Address> container. This meant the check on the number of subscriptions was not performed if an address was not provided. The <OverrideMaxSubscriptions> object has now been moved out of the <Address> container.

CMP 8.15.0.1 - 20th June 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issues as follows:

• CMPIS-3016: Non Network Actions Not Completing (MMI-2) - It has been observed that a number of non-network action were not being processed and were being left in a 'Pending Auto Confirmation' state.
• CMPIS-3043: REST - Get Subscription Package - Timestamp format in response (VAD-1800) - The timestamp being returned to the GET Subscription Package RESTful web service response was returning timestamps in UNIX format rather than in an ISO 8601 Date as specified in the documentation.
