Patch Releases

The latest ansible playbook should be downloaded before installing any release or patch and the version should be checked against the cmp-ansible-playbook-pkg version in the Module Versions section below. The playbook package should be at least the version specified below but may be a later version.

CMP 8.16.1.9 - 10th September 2025

This patch release addresses the following application support issue:

• CMPIS-3425 Allowance Balance Discrepancy – OCS versus AgentView/Rest (AFG-19) - After an allowance transfer, the 'Inclusive Units' amount was being displayed incorrectly for the recipient subscription (in the AgentView Allowances panel and in the response to the Get Allowances API). The remaining units value was being shown instead of the original amount transferred, this has been fixed so that the correct value is displayed for 'Inclusive Units', i.e. the original amount transferred.

This has resulted in changes to the following module:

• netengage-synchronous-allowance-management-impl (build 8.16.7)

CMP 8.16.1.8 - 31st July 2025

This patch release addresses 2 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3391: Persistent Errors in Log Files (AFG-17) - A webswing configuration issue when running in a HA scenario was identified as the cause - a change to the ansible scripts was required so that the webswing application is correctly configured.
• CMPIS-3400: CMP8 Installer – Issue running in patch mode - An error was discovered whereby the installer was skipping certain tasks that should have been run when running in patch mode.

This has resulted in changes to the following module:

• cmp-ansible-playbook-pkg (build 1.17.22)

CMP 8.16.1.7 - 25th April 2025

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3342: Concurrent Job Execution Error - An issue was observed during load testing when 2 jobs were started at same time.

This has resulted in changes to the following module:

• sabre-server (build 1.24.11)

This patch is available for deployment in the CMP 8.16.1 GA repository.

CMP 8.16.1.6 - 21st February 2025

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3312: Display of OCS Allowance Threshold Value (AFG-10) - For allowance threshold breach notifications coming from the OCS, the percentage remaining amount was including 4 decimal places rather being displayed as a whole number.

This has resulted in changes to the following module:

• sabre-netengage-notification-adapter (build 1.4.3)

CMP 8.16.1.5 - 31st January 2025

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3304: Unable to access CMP using Microsoft Account (AFG-9) - An issue was observed when trying to log in to CMP using a federated login (Microsoft Azure, Google etc) when multiple Identity providers were configured.

This has resulted in changes to the following module:

• wso2is-login (build 1.15.6)

CMP 8.16.1.4 - 4th December 2024

This patch release addresses 4 application support issues and 1 functional enhancements as follows:

• CMPIS-3244: CMP8 Installer – Webswing Version 23.2 – Missing Port Configuration - As part of the upgrade to 8.16.1, the installation failed with a connection error caused by missing port configuration in the Webswing properties files as a result of non-standard ports being used.
• CMPIS-3243: CMP8 Installer – Webswing Version 23.2 – Logs Permission Error - As part of the upgrade to 8.16.1, the installation failed with a permissions error when attempting to write to the /logs/webswing/ directory on the root filesystem. This was caused by a Tomcat property specifying a relative directory rather than absolute directory.
• CMPIS-3194: Bill Item Calculator - Issues with some calculations - When calculating a termination fee it was observed that some calculated values were incorrect by up to 0.03. This was caused by different decimal precisions being used as part of the calculation. The calculation now uses a precision scale of 4 consistently with a "half up" rounding method.
• CMPIS-3041: Invoice Production – Duplicate Non subscription invoices are produced - It was observed that when 2 sales ledger adjustments were added to a subscription along with a subscription service, the invoice that was subsequently generate had duplicated invoice lines for the non subscription elements.
• CMP-21361: Exclusive Tax Detail Calculation - Rounding Options - Currently, when invoice production is writing invoice detail records for tax exclusive services, the tax amount is written to a precision of 4 decimal places, there is no rounding involved. This rounding precision has now been made configurable through the introduction of a new system property, GENERAL_SETTINGS/EXCLUSIVE-TAX-DETAIL-PRECISION. If no specific rounding is required, the property default value should be '4'.

This has resulted in changes to the following module:

CMP 8.16.1.3 - 20th November 2024

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3231: REST - Cancel Disconnection - Error - When attempting to use the RESTful Cancel Disconnection web service, a 503 was returned with an illegal argument exception.

This has resulted in changes to the following module:

• rest-ws (build 2.19.50)

CMP 8.16.1.2 - 7th November 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issues as follows:

• CMPIS-3217: Bill Print - JSON files in incomplete state for print bureau (RED-842) - Following an upgrade to CMP 8.16, it was observed that the JSON files sent to the print bureau were not being encrypted.
• CMPIS-3210: Rated Usage - Overage Records are rejected (RED-841) - The fix for CMPIS-3210 in patch 8.16.1.1 did not fully address the issue so an additional change was made to the rated usage module.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

• sabre-bill-print (build 2.17.9)
• sabre-rated-usage (build 2.18.9)

CMP 8.16.1.1 - 31st October 2024

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3210: Rated Usage - Overage Records are rejected (RED-841) - It was observed that Overage records were remaining in Usage Batch Detail table with a status of '04' (invalid allowance id) as the allowance id column wass not being populated on usage allowance batch detail table.

This has resulted in changes to the following module:

• sabre-rated-usage (build 2.18.7)

In addition, the Ansible Playbook package (cmp-ansible-playbook-pkg) has been updated to version 1.17.19.

CMP 8.16.1.0 - 18th October 2024

This is an interim functional release to provide support for Closed User Groups for customers integrated with the NetEngage OCS. Details on the changes for CMP 8.16.1 can be found in the updated CMP 8.16 release notes here.

CMP 8.16.0.6 - 4th December 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issues and 2 product enhancements as follows:

• CMPIS-3194: Bill Item Calculator - Issues with some calculations - When calculating a termination fee it was observed that some calculated values were incorrect by up to 0.03. This was caused by different decimal precisions being used as part of the calculation. The calculation now uses a precision scale of 4 consistently with a "half up" rounding method.

• CMP-21327: REST - Get Subscriptions - Additional Identity Element - The GET Subscriptions REST API returns two dates in the identification object, disallowedDateTime and allowedDateTime, that indicate if an identity is blacklisted or not. An additional element has been added to the metadata, isBlacklisted, that indicates if the identity is currently blacklisted or not. This means that there is no need longer a need to interpret the dates within the identification object.

CMP 8.16.0.5 - 6th November 2024

This patch release addresses 2 application support issues as follows:

• CMPIS-3217: Bill Print - JSON files in incomplete state for print bureau (RED-842) - Following an upgrade to CMP 8.16, it was observed that the JSON files sent to the print bureau were not being encrypted.
• CMPIS-3210: Rated Usage - Overage Records are rejected (RED-841) - The fix for CMPIS-3210 in patch 8.16.0.4 did not fully address the issue so an additional change was made to the rated usage module.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

• sabre-bill-print (build 2.17.8)
• sabre-rated-usage (build 2.18.8)

CMP 8.16.0.4 - 31st October 2024

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3141: Workflow Monitor – Incorrectly applying tax to termination fees (RED-840) - It was observed that in some cases tax was being added twice when generating termination fees for tax exclusive services.

CMP 8.16.0.2 - 15th October 2024

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3198: Failed Provisioning - Provisioning was observed to fail when more that one subscription service record was stamped with the same workflow event number. Action Monitor only expects to find one subscription service record for a given event number.

CMP 8.16.0.1 - 3rd October 2024

This patch release addresses 1 application support issue as follows:

• CMPIS-3184: NetEngage Provisioning Adapter – MSISDN not always set correctly - In some cases it was observed that an incorrect serial number was being sent to the OCS rather than the MSISDN.

This has resulted in changes to the following modules:

• sabre-netengage-provisioning-adapter (build 1.7.5)

In addition, the Ansible Playbook package (cmp-ansible-playbook-pkg) has been updated to version 1.16.34.
